Help & Support

General Questions

CoreVouch is a verification-first review platform. We confirm that reviews come from real customers using receipt verification, photo documentation, and confidence scoring. This helps businesses build credible reputations and consumers make informed decisions.

A verified review is one where the reviewer has provided proof of their visit or purchase — typically a receipt photo that our OCR system matches to the business. Verified reviews are marked with special badges to indicate their authenticity.

No. CoreVouch is designed to complement existing platforms. We focus specifically on verification — proving that reviews come from real customers. Many businesses display their CoreVouch Trust Score alongside other review platforms to show an extra level of credibility.

For consumers, yes — always free. For businesses, claiming a profile is free. Premium features (analytics, widgets, QR codes) may require a subscription. View our pricing page

Verification

When you upload a receipt, our OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology reads the merchant name, date, and other details. If it matches the business you're reviewing, your review is automatically marked "Receipt Verified." This process happens in seconds.

If the OCR can't confidently match your receipt, it may be sent for manual review by our team or your review may be labeled "Unverified." Unverified reviews are still published but clearly marked so readers know the difference.

You can still leave a review. It will be marked "Unverified" unless you provide photo documentation, which earns a "Photo Verified" badge. Many reviewers upload photos of their meal, product, or service results as an alternative form of verification.

Trust Score is based on: percentage of verified reviews, average rating from verified reviewers, total review volume, and business response rate. A higher percentage of verified reviews leads to a higher Trust Score.

For Businesses

No. Businesses cannot remove verified reviews. They can respond publicly to address concerns or flag a review for manual investigation if they believe it violates our policies. This ensures the integrity and trustworthiness of all reviews.

Unverified reviews are clearly labeled. If you believe a review is fraudulent or violates our terms of service, you can flag it for review by our moderation team. We take fraudulent reviews seriously and will remove them if they violate our policies.

Visit our Get Started page, search for your business, and follow the verification steps. You'll need to verify ownership through email or document verification. The process is free and typically takes just a few minutes. Get Started page
